About the Show

Come join the fun and help support the Weatherford D.A.R.E. Program!

The Heartland Cruise Car Show was founded in 1991 by the Weatherford Area Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors as a fundraiser.  It started with a few car enthusiasts who decided to get together to show off their cars at Means Park and grew to become a spectacular event each year.  In 2002, the car show eventually grew out of that location and moved to Rader Park. Throughout the years, we have added the burnout contest, cruise, loud exhaust contest, children’s money pit & more!   In 2016, the Heartland Cruise Car Club & Weatherford Rotary Club began to help raise money for the Weatherford D.A.R.E. Program with this event.  D.A.R.E. Programs teach students good decision-making skills that will help them lead safe and healthy lives and cope with high risk circumstances including drugs, alcohol, violence, bullying, and internet safety.

The generosity of our sponsors combined with our powerful cause, have helped us not only to survive, but to thrive and grow into what we are today.  This annual event is ran by an amazing group of car enthusiasts who strive to make this a successful event every year.  Most of our volunteers have helped from the beginning and would love to have individuals who enjoy this event as much as we do join in on the fun!
